Forever 21 Times Square launches through partnership with ‘To Be A Star’ at ‘Walk On Water’ fashion show in NYC
New York City, NY June 11, 2010– The breathtaking views of the Hudson River provided the backdrop for this Summer’s most unique fashion show – ‘Forever 21 Walk On Water’, June 7th, 2010, on Pier 66 in Midtown Manhattan.
Twelve models rocked the runway in four energized vignettes. From ‘Fitness’ to ‘Beach with the Girls’ to ‘Party at the Club’ and, finally, ‘Red Carpet Ready’, the models brought two brands to life and thrilled the capacity audience.
Pop Star Katie Faith sang the title track from ‘To Be A Star’ – YESTERDAY – to open the show, and video clips introducing the story of ‘To Be A Star’ were interspersed throughout.
Hosts Kimmie Smith of Kitten Lounge, Jeannine Morris of Beauty Sweet Spot, and Celebrity Stylist Lauren Rae Levy, who recently starred on Real Housewives of New York and The Tyra Show, and whose clients include Christie Brinkley, Janice Dickinson, Lydia Hearst, Paris Hilton and Sarah Jessica Parker, emceed the evening. Guests received VIP gift bags, with product from Forever21, Purple Lab, SMASHBOX Cosmetics, Mrs. Fields Cookies, New York Sports Club, Hollywood Prescription, Completely Bare and Salon Rock, and enjoyed catering from Energy Kitchen.
